Kusatsu Hotel is proactive in various areas as part of its efforts to achieve the SDGs, including consideration for the environment and energy resources, local production for local consumption and coexistence with the community, local support such as building disaster-resistant facilities, and creating a comfortable workplace for staff. We are working on this.

This facility will continue to carefully protect its precious wooden structure, which is over 100 years old.
We value old folk furniture and use it within this facility.

At this facility, each meal is served one by one after the customer takes their seat.Most people eat it without leaving any leftovers.

This facility has been trying to go paperless since 2017.
We have stopped printing out large quantities of daily schedules, which is common at inns.
We share customer information via the cloud and conduct business in an environmentally friendly manner.

This facility uses uniforms for both men and women.
We chose it with the aim of making it easy to work in and comfortable to wear throughout the year.

We are practicing EV car sharing using Nissan Sakura.
Two EV desk lamps are available for guests.
We have 6 electrically assisted bicycles available for rental.

We grow a wide variety of vegetables such as green beans and cucumbers in the field on the grounds of the inn.
Growing vegetables has strengthened the spirit of cooperation and sense of camaraderie.
I feel the joy of being able to provide our customers with vegetables that we have grown ourselves.

Garbage disposal is currently a major problem in Kusatsu Town.Plastic waste is a sustainable initiative that relies on the cooperation of our customers.Shaving/hairbrushes/hair ties/toothbrushes will be available at the front desk.If you need it, please bring your own items.
