Kusatsu Hotel has a total of 44 rooms and is 3 stories tall including the lower hot spring area.
＊There is no elevator.
The hotel’s main structure was refurbished, retaining the original architectural design with high ceilings and wooden framed sliding windows. The annex was added 52 years ago so it gives off a more modern feel, and overall, the area is more spacious. However, regardless of which section of the hotel you are in, you will be able to relax and enjoy traditional Japanese style rooms and the ryokan’s hospitality.
This hotel was built from wood in 1913 and because of its age, there is no soundproofing. We ask that you please be considerate of other guests and refrain from running down the halls, making loud noises, and other things that might interfere with the other guests’ relaxation.
